Contribution Workflow

The SustainaSeed Knowledge Base is the official internal wiki for SustainaSeed and VerityBase.

Non-technical team members should contribute through Google Drive. They do not need GitHub, Markdown, Docusaurus, Firebase, or Cloud Shell access.

Contributor Workflow​

  1. Open the SustainaSeed Wiki Submissions folder in Google Drive.
  2. Open the Templates folder.
  3. Choose the correct template.
  4. Make a copy of the template.
  5. Rename the document clearly.
  6. Fill out the document.
  7. Move the document to 01 New Submissions.
  8. Tag Josh or Rakesh for review.

Review Workflow​

Rakesh or Josh reviews new submissions and moves them through the workflow:

  1. 01 New Submissions
  2. 02 In Review
  3. 03 Approved for Wiki
  4. 04 Published

If the document needs more work, move it to:

05 Needs Clarification

If it should not be published, move it to:

06 Archived / Rejected

Publishing Workflow​

Approved content is converted into Docusaurus Markdown and added to the GitHub repository.

After the content is pushed to the main branch, GitHub Actions automatically deploys the updated wiki to Firebase Hosting.

The official wiki is available at:

https://sustainaseed-kb.web.app

Important Rule​

Google Drive is the intake layer.

Docusaurus is the official published knowledge base.

Do not treat raw Google Docs as official wiki pages until they have been reviewed and published.
